I don't see my specific need listed in your services. Should I contact you anyway?
Yes! While our most frequently used services are listed on the website, the list is not all inclusive. For instance, I can help you with memoir documentation or end-of-life planning and many other tasks. I do not support direct medical care. If I do not support a task, I may be able to recommend someone who does.

I need someone to work with me to declutter my home. Can you help me?
Yes! While I am engaged frequently for tasks I can complete without a client's help, I'm happy to work together to accomplish a project like decluttering, photo or file organization, or memoir documentation to name a few.

How much advance notice do you need to book your services?

We pride ourselves on flexibility. A client suffering from infrequent, yet debilitating, bouts of vertigo may need immediate support for only a day or two while another client may know they want support the second Tuesday of every month. I will do what I can to support the needs when I am able. Let's discuss to see if I can be of assistance.

Will you be my housekeeper?
While I can do some light housekeeping, I will not do a deep cleaning of your home. However, I can put you in touch with a great housekeeper if you are looking for one!

I see you provide post-operative support, but you do not provide medical care. Can you explain?
Absolutely! I support the daily living tasks (e.g. walking the dog, meal prep, errands, etc.) that still need to get done even though you may need a day or two, or more, to focus on intense recovery. Additionally, I support a peaceful environment for your recovery. Do you want comforting, nutritious meals as you recover? Fudgy brownies or warm chocolate chip cookies, and their smell wafting through your home? Linen changes and warm washcloths? I work with you to determine what would make your recovery as stress free as possible.

How long do you support clients?
This is unique based on the needs of each client. A post-operative client may need three days while a grieving or maternity client may want support for several weeks. A senior aging at home may want help once or twice a month.

What are your rates?
Our rates vary based on the type of service required. Rates start at $75 per hour. Consultations are free because I want to fully understand your needs before quoting you a rate and/or a package.

Where do you serve clients?
My focus is in the Des Moines metro area, but I am happy to discuss support outside that range. Some projects may make sense for me; others may not. Let's chat!
